Series 001
A set of analog films shot on a Bolex 16mm camera in RISD’s Film Practices course with Professor Ramón Rivera-Moret and TA Carter. Working on real film — finite rolls, hand-metered light, and no digital undo — taught me to make every frame a decision.
Each piece pairs a short look at the idea and the process with the finished film and a longer reflection.

Short films made for international youth and environmental film contests — UNAOC PLURAL+, Bow Seat’s Ocean Awareness Contest, RFK Human Rights’ Speak Truth to Power, and the One Planet, Many People video contest.
They span climate, migration, diversity, and the ocean, and several were finalists or award winners. Each page links to its competition.
Award-Winning Films2021 · Speak Truth to Power (Finalist)
A short film on the fragility of the social bonds that hold communities together — and the human dignity at stake when they break.

View project2020 · UNAOC PLURAL+
A testimonial-style short that centers the resilience and humanity of people who leave home in search of safety and opportunity.

Envisioning the future of the world’s oceans and the urgent, collective change required to keep them alive.
View project2017 · AGI Earth Science Week
An early short on conserving Earth’s natural systems — where I first realized video could advocate for the planet.

3D animations made in Blender for RISD’s Computer-Generated Imagery 3D course — creature studies, constraint experiments, and speculative worldbuilding.
Each piece is part of learning lighting, modeling, and animation from first principles.
2024–25 · Blender · RISD
A low-poly 3D study of a prehistoric marine reptile — my first creature model and camera animation in Blender.
View project2024–25 · Blender · RISD
Constraint-based 3D experiments from my first weeks learning CGI — a pterosaur, a seagull, and a simple rig pushed into strange behavior.
View project2024–25 · Blender · RISD
A worldbuilding experiment using Blender to explore the metaverse — and what it means for something to go wrong inside a digital world.
View projectUFO (UAP) · 2026 · Blender
A sci-fi 3D scene staging a heavy UAP crash-landing at Roswell — modern myth rendered with weight, scale, and impact.

Broadcast-style animated intros and bumpers for a recurring Spanish-language morning segment, “Anuncios de la Mañana.”
Short exercises in branding, rhythm, type, and mood in motion — each opener gives its segment a distinct character.
2025 · Motion Graphics
The flagship morning-announcements opener, committed fully to a saturated, nostalgic vaporwave aesthetic.
View project2025 · Motion Graphics
A warm, celebratory animated opener for the Thanksgiving edition of the morning-announcements segment.

A softer, affectionate Valentine’s-Day opener in the segment’s intro family.
View project2025 · Motion Graphics
A sharper, more dramatic opener — motion echoing the pointed energy of the name.

Process-driven experiments where the design exercise itself is the subject — using repetition, the body, and constraint as mark-making systems.

Treating walking itself as a mark-making system — 100,000 repeated steps accumulating into composition and gesture.
View project2025 · Composition Study
