The Idea
An error inside a digital world
A 3D animated piece (V2) created in Blender, themed around the metaverse and a glitch-driven “error” within it. It’s a worldbuilding experiment — using the 3D pipeline to carry a concept, not just demonstrate a technique.
V2
Iterating on an earlier pass rather than calling it final

Course
FAV-5118 · Computer-Generated Imagery 3D
Made for RISD’s Computer-Generated Imagery 3D studio, taught in Blender. The course covers lighting, modeling, and animation grounded in core 3D principles; after lectures on navigating the interface, each student produces a short animation with focused, individual instructor time.

This was a worldbuilding-driven experiment where I used Blender to explore the idea of the metaverse and what it means for something to go wrong inside a digital world. Building it pushed me to keep practicing the core 3D pipeline of modeling, lighting, and animation while learning how to carry a concept through a piece. It exists as a V2, so part of the process was revisiting and iterating on an earlier attempt rather than treating the first pass as final — a reminder that the software is a tool for thinking through ideas, not just rendering them.
