Reflection

Reflection

Future Oceans came from wanting to confront people with a simple, uncomfortable truth: the ocean won’t survive without real change from us. I tried to balance that urgency with enough hope that viewers would feel moved to act rather than despair. Bow Seat’s Ocean Awareness Contest has always pushed me to turn environmental science into something emotionally resonant, and the film reinforced for me that the future of the ocean is still being decided by the choices we make right now.
