Perspective Drawing — Chairs in Space
A graphite perspective study in which patterned chairs, cylinders, and staircases radiate outward from converging vanishing points. Tumbling capsules and tubes scatter across the page while flame-like and woven textures fill the receding planes, pushing a technical exercise toward surreal, dynamic composition.

A straight perspective grid felt too tidy, so I let objects explode outward from the vanishing points like the room was coming apart. Drawing the same chair in different orientations was great discipline — it forced me to actually understand the form, not just trace a recipe. The flame and woven textures crept in as a way to make the empty space feel charged rather than blank. Mastering the rules is what lets you bend them on purpose.
