Designing La Lanza meant code-switching constantly — the gravity of a Bosnian war piece and the playfulness of a Pokémon GO feature had to live in the same issue. I leaned on a consistent grid and red accent to hold it together while letting each story set its own emotional temperature. Working in Spanish for my school community made the layouts feel like they actually belonged to someone. It was my first real lesson in editorial voice through design.
