I wanted this to feel like a roadside shrine to stuff — half celebration, half warning. Building a literal temple out of consumer goods let me visualize how we elevate possessions to something almost sacred, then I set the human values floating around it as the real question. The bright folk-art style was deliberate: seduction is part of the critique. Painting it made me sit with my own contradictions about wanting and needing.
