I wanted to see how far I could push cardboard past “prototype material” into something theatrical and alive. Layering the card in profiles let me carve volume the way a contour map builds terrain, so the dragon’s snarl emerged from dozens of small decisions rather than one big cut. Wearing it changed the project — suddenly it had to balance, breathe, and read at a distance.
