AILIUR — Techno-Ritual Abstraction

An original abstract painting built from a dense lattice of arcs, grids, and dotted bands in a saturated red, viridian-green, and ochre-yellow palette. Forms read as part circuit board, part ritual glyph — a “techno-ritual” visual language packed edge to edge in an all-over woven field.

Reflection

I painted AILIUR to find out what a sacred object would look like if it were also a machine. I kept the palette deliberately tribal and hot — reds and greens fighting for the same space — so the eye never settles and the surface stays alive. Working all-over, with no background, forced me to treat composition as weaving rather than figure-and-ground, the same instinct I bring to interface and pattern design. It is the most personal piece in this collection because it is invented language, not a remix.
